# Сollecting Gems using the AR function

<figure><img src="/files/DhmneuuwCmdm5YKd531r" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

One of the opportunities to earn in the game and to play for free is to collect resources using the [AR feature](/hexplanet/wiki/ar-function/ar-function-to-collect-gems.md).

You can collect resources by running around the streets and catching them in AR. Beginners who don’t yet own their mining farms can make money by gathering resources on the streets and selling them in the market.&#x20;

The amount of spawn resources depends on the pool designated for this purpose and is calculated using a specific formula. The more players there are in one location, the less frequent the free spawn. In other words, in areas with fewer players, there is a greater opportunity to collect crystals! Explore new territories.

This is a great opportunity to play for free and earn at the same time.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://su0-1.gitbook.io/hexplanet/play-and-earn/sollecting-gems-using-the-ar-function.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
